Canada Lotto Max drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11:30 pm ET. Tickets cost C$1.66 per play. Players may pick seven numbers from one pool of numbers from 1 to 50. You win the jackpot by matching all seven winning numbers in a drawing. The jackpots start at C$10 million and is capped at $70 million. After the jackpot reaches at least C$50 million, additional drawings are held for auxiliary "MaxMillions" prizes of C$1 million each.
May 2019 format/price point change
In May 14, 2019, the game introduced major changes, including adding a Tuesday drawing, a larger jackpot cap, a 50-number field, and two additional prize tiers.
